“Shades of grey”

‐ 25 February 2020

The colour used for the height scale - pale blue for lowest, to pale yellow for highest - is confusing. Zero is a muddy inbetween grey, rather than white, separating clearly different shades. The result is that you can't clearly distinguish what is mountain and what is crater. It would be no good to a lunar navigator.

“1 giant leap for map kind”

what a brilliant idea.I can remember watching the moon landing on a black and white telly when I was 6! Now I've got a piece of history. I gave it to my Moon Mad mate who loved it.

“Is this a map?”

‐ 17 May 2019

Imagery looks stunning - but am I missing something. This seems more like satellite imagery rather than a map. Where are the contours or symbols?
