Greater Manchester Pathfinder Walking Guide book comprises of 28 excellent walks. Compiled by local author Andrew Read, who has curated a variety of routes.
A variety of 28 walks in its open green spaces, along its river valleys and canal towpaths. Including the moorlands of its West and South Pennine and Peak District fringes.
All of the the walks are reachable by public transport. Greater Manchester has an excellent network of train, tram and bus services. Details of the stations and stops needed are given in each walk information panel. Pubs and cafés are highlighted along the routes.
There is a walking route for everyone. Ten shorter and easier routes in the first ‘green’ chapter. A further ten more half-day ‘blue’ walks. Then finishing with eight longer outings in the ‘orange’ chapter.

OS Historical 1896-1904 Maps, Relief Maps and Custom Made Map orders will take one extra day for printing. Framed and canvas products are handmade and usually take 10-12 working days to dispatch. If you order on a bank holiday we'll start on your order on the next working day. Standard delivery for OS Historical 1896 - 1904 Maps and Relief Maps are sent RM 48, and Next Day Delivery will be sent out Royal Mail 24.
